Websites built by the people who have to rank them afterwards.
A web designer hands over and leaves. We are an SEO agency, so we live with the site – which is why every website design we build in Parramatta and across Sydney is fast, structured to rank, tracked from day one, and owned outright by you. WordPress and Shopify, plus custom web development when off-the-shelf will not do.

Every one of these is live today. Open it, press F12, check the speed, look at the heading structure. That is the audit we would rather you ran than any claim we could make.
Suburban Pest Management
Thirty-year Queensland pest company. Service pages by pest and by suburb, online booking and payments, and a structure built to hold hundreds of location pages without cannibalising.
NextSense School
Three specialist schools for children with hearing and vision loss, under one site. Accessibility was the brief, not a checkbox: contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader structure and plain-language content throughout.
Quality Termite Control
Sydney termite and pest inspections. A trade site that does the one thing a trade site must: make the phone number and the booking impossible to miss on a phone, then rank for the suburbs it serves.
GreenLight Solar
Penrith solar installer. Product and package pages with quote requests, rebate explainers, and a service-area structure built for the western Sydney suburbs it actually installs in.
MSM Solar
SAA-accredited solar and battery installer. Quote-first layout, accreditation and warranty badges above the fold, brand pages for Tesla and Sigenergy batteries, and EV charger pages for the searches that are growing fastest.
BuyEcoGreen
Australian-made eco stationery store. A full WooCommerce catalogue with school and office ranges, bulk ordering, and the shop we then grew from $16K to $25K+ a month with SEO and Google Ads.
Premium Packaging
Wholesale packaging supplier. B2B catalogue with custom-print quoting, same-day approval flow, and product pages structured for the high-volume “boxes with logo” searches that drive the business.
The Curtain Lab
Curtain and blind supply and installation. A visual-first brochure site with gallery-led product pages, free-measure booking, and a light build that stays fast under a lot of photography.
Taste Crate
Sydney dessert-box and gift-hamper store. Next-day delivery logic, occasion and recipient navigation, corporate ordering, and a checkout rebuilt for the phone, where nearly all gift orders happen.
DTPS Printing
Melbourne commercial and digital printer. Product pages per print type with online quoting and ordering, built to rank for “printing services Melbourne” against national print chains
Bigger Smiles Dental
Gymea family dental practice. Book-a-visit and call-now in the header on every page, treatment and offer pages, payment-plan explainers, and an online booking integration with the practice software.
Motionplus Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiology for WorkCover, CTP and NDIS participants. Referral-friendly service pages, funding-type explainers, and a structure that speaks to case managers as well as patients.
Want the numbers behind any of these?
Ask on the call and we open the analytics rather than send a PDF. What we will not do is put invented "300% growth" figures on a sales page. If a client is happy to share results, they are in the proof band above with their name on them.
What a website design agency that also does SEO builds differently.
Six things a web designer never has to think about, and a web development company that ranks sites afterwards cannot avoid. Each is something we have had to fix on a site we inherited. Building it right costs nothing extra; fixing it later costs a rebuild.
Speed on a phone, measured, not claimed
Most agency sites we inherit take five to eight seconds to load on mobile because of a page builder stacked with plugins and 3MB hero images. Google measures this. So does your customer, with their thumb.
Core Web Vitals checked on every page before launch, images compressed and sized, plugins kept to what is needed.
One page per service, one per area
A designer builds “Services” as one long page with pretty icons. Google cannot rank one page for eleven different services. Neither can your customer find the one they came for.
A page for every service you sell and every area you serve, in a structure that can grow without cannibalising itself.
Headings that mean something
Two H1s, an H2 that says “Welcome”, H4s used for spacing, and the actual service name in a styled paragraph. It looks fine. It reads to Google as a page about nothing.
One H1, a real heading hierarchy, titles and descriptions written for each page, structured data where it earns a rich result.
Tracking that exists on launch day
The site goes live with no analytics, or with Google Analytics pasted in and nothing else. Six months later nobody knows where the enquiries came from, and the marketing decisions are guesses.
GA4 and Tag Manager installed, form submits and phone clicks tracked as conversions, tested in front of you before launch.
Words written to be read, and to be found
“Welcome to our website. We are passionate about delivering solutions.” Nobody searches for that and nobody reads it. Copy is the part most designers hand back to the client, who never writes it.
We write the copy. Every page opens with what you do, where, and for whom, in the words your customers type.A simple review request built into your class and booking flow.
Owned by you, not hosted hostage
Built on the agency’s hosting, under the agency’s login, on a page builder licence in the agency’s name. Leaving means starting from nothing, which is the point.
Meet Jimit Dagli
I have spent ten years in search, and for most of that time the sites I was asked to rank were built by somebody else. The same problems came up every time: slow, one page for everything, no tracking, copy nobody had written, and a login the client did not have. We started building websites because it was easier than fixing them.
That is the whole philosophy. We build the site we would want to inherit – and because we usually go on to run the search for it, we often do inherit it. There is no incentive to cut a corner we will trip over ourselves in three months.
Every site on this page was built or rebuilt by this office in Parramatta. Click any of them. If something is slow or badly structured, tell me – I would rather hear it from you than from Google.

Three ways to build a website. Here is which one you need.
We build on all three, so there is no reason for us to steer you. The honest answer is below, and for most businesses it is the first one.
WordPress web design Sydney
For nearly every business website – trades, clinics, professional services, schools, brochure sites with a blog. Also for online stores with fewer than a few hundred products or with B2B quoting, on WooCommerce. You can edit it yourself, it runs on any host, and there is a developer in every suburb if you ever leave us. Nine of the twelve sites above are WordPress.
eCommerce web design Sydney
Shopify when selling is the whole business, the catalogue is large, and you want payments, shipping, inventory and tax to work out of the box without a maintenance burden. It costs a monthly fee forever and is harder to customise deeply – that is the trade for never thinking about hosting or security again.
Custom web development
Quoting tools, customer portals, booking systems, integrations with practice or job-management software, and applications that happen to have a website attached. Paying for custom code to do what WordPress already does is paying twice, so we say no to this more often than yes.
Nine things in every website we build. None of them are extras.
Most of the difference between a website that produces enquiries and one that just exists is in items four to nine. That is also where most quotes go quiet.
Design, for your business
Layout, colour, type and imagery decided for you, not picked from a theme store. Presented as a homepage and one inner page first, so the direction is agreed before anything is built.
Copy, written by us
Every page written in the words your customers search for. The single biggest cause of a late website is waiting for the client to write it, so we do not wait – you review and correct instead.
Built for the phone first
Most of your traffic is on a phone, so that is the version we design first and check hardest. Thumb-reachable calls to action, forms that work with one hand, a number that dials when tapped.
SEO structure, built in
One page per service and area, a real heading hierarchy, titles and descriptions per page, structured data, an XML sitemap, and internal links that make sense. The foundation ranking needs, done once, properly.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Images compressed and correctly sized, fonts loaded properly, scripts deferred, caching set up, and every page checked against Google’s thresholds before launch. Speed is measured, not promised.
Analytics and conversion tracking
Turn search visibility into genuine business enquiries with SEO focused on high-intent keywords, conversion-ready landing pages and sustainable organic growth.
Security and backups
SSL, hardened logins, a firewall, automatic updates on a schedule, and daily off-site backups. We clean up hacked WordPress sites for other agencies’ clients often enough to take this seriously.
Training and handover
A recorded session showing your staff how to edit pages, add posts, update prices and read the analytics. Plus the logins – all of them, in your name.
Thirty days of support after launch
Anything that surfaces in the first month is fixed without a conversation about money. After that, look after it yourself or pick a care plan. Never a condition of the build.
Six steps, four to eight weeks, no surprises at the end.
The step most agencies skip is the first one. Design before structure means redesigning once the structure turns out to be wrong.
01
Week 1–2
Structure before pixels
What you sell, where, to whom, and what people search for to find it. That becomes the page list – every service, every area – and the page list becomes the sitemap. Only then does anyone open a design tool.
You get: a sitemap and a page-by-page brief, in writing.
02
Week 2–3
Copy first
We write every page before it is designed, so the design fits the words rather than the words being squeezed into boxes later. You review and correct; you do not start from a blank page.
You get: every page’s copy for approval.
03
Month 1–2
Design, two pages
Homepage and one inner page, on desktop and phone. Two rounds of changes are included, and the direction is agreed before anything else is designed — which is what stops round six from happening.
What you get: before and after speed and booking results.
04
Month 2 onward
Build
The site built on a staging address you can watch. Speed, headings, titles, structured data and tracking are built in as we go, not bolted on at the end.
What you get: drafts for your approval before publishing.
05
Ongoing
Check everything, then launch
Every page on a phone, every form submitted, every conversion fired and seen in Analytics, speed scores recorded, old addresses redirected, and Search Console connected. Then it goes live – on a Tuesday, never a Friday.
You get: the launch checklist, ticked, with the speed scores on it.
06
Every month
Results chat
A recorded training session, all logins in your name, and a month of included support for anything that surfaces. Then your choice: look after it yourself, or a care plan.
What you get: a video call booked around your quiet hours.
What a website costs in Australia, and what ours cost.
Almost no Sydney agency publishes a price. We do, because a buyer who knows the number before the call is a better call for both of us.
For a business website built by an Australian agency, expect roughly $2,500 to $4,500 for a focused site of five to eight pages, $4,500 to $9,000 for a full business site with written copy, SEO structure and tracking, and $9,000 upwards for eCommerce, custom functionality or large sites. Freelance web designers in Sydney typically charge $60 to $120 an hour or $1,500 to $4,000 a site. Template builders and offshore work sit under $1,500.
The gap between those bands is rarely the design. It is everything around it – the copy, the page structure, the speed work, the tracking, the security, the support – which is precisely the part that decides whether the site produces enquiries or just exists. A $500 website is not a bargain version of a $5,000 one; it is a different product with those parts left out. We would rather say that here than on the call.

Seven signs your current website is costing you enquiries.
You do not need all seven. Three is usually enough to justify the spend, and one – the first – is enough on its own.
01
It takes more than three seconds to load on a phone
Test it on 4G, not office wi-fi. Most people leave before the page has finished, and Google counts that. This one alone justifies a rebuild.
02
You get traffic but not enquiries
If Analytics shows visitors and the phone is quiet, the site is the problem – the offer is buried, the form is long, or the number is not tappable.
03
You cannot edit it yourself
A price change or a new staff member should not need a developer and an invoice. If it does, you are renting the site, not owning it.
04
It does not have a page for each service
One “Services” page with nine icons cannot rank for nine things. Every service you want to be found for needs its own page, and most older sites have none.
05
It was built before 2020
Page builders, plugins and Google’s expectations have all moved. A site from 2018 is usually slow, insecure, and structured in ways Google now penalises.
06
It looks wrong on a phone
Text too small, buttons too close, a menu that needs two hands. Half or more of your visitors are seeing exactly that version.
07
You are embarrassed to send people to it
The least technical sign and the most reliable one. If you add “ignore the website” to a quote, the website is losing you the quote.
Five questions to ask any web design agency, including us.
Ask us the same five. What you should be hearing from anyone you are considering is on the right.
01
"Whose name will the domain, hosting and admin login be in?"
"We host it for you on our platform" - leaving means starting again, which is the point of the arrangement.
Yours, all of it, from day one. They are a user you can remove.
02
"Who writes the words?"
"You supply the content" - the single most common reason a website is four months late and reads like a brochure from 2009.
The agency writes it, you correct it. Copy is part of the price.
03
"Show me three sites you built. Can I open them on my phone right now?"
Mock-ups, "confidential clients", or a portfolio of homepage screenshots with no links.
The agency writes it, Live links. Then load one on 4G and time it. Twelve are above.you correct it. Copy is part of the price.
04
"What conversion tracking will be working on launch day?"
"We'll add Google Analytics" - a pasted code snippet that counts pageviews and nothing you can act on.
Forms, calls and bookings tracked as separate conversions in GA4, tested in front of you.
05
"What is the price, and what makes it change?"
"Depends on the project" followed by an hourly rate — the invoice becomes a surprise.
A fixed price once scope is agreed, published bands, and a written list of what would change it.
One more, worth asking every time: “Will the new website rank on Google?” The honest answer is that no website ranks by itself. What a website can be is built so ranking is possible -fast, structured, one page per service, tracked. Anyone who promises rankings as part of a web design quote is either selling you an SEO retainer under another name or does not know the difference. We do both, separately, and will tell you which you need.
Digitalzoop versus a typical Sydney web design company.
Every row is something we have had to undo on a site we inherited.
| Typical web designer | DIGITALZOOP | |
| Who owns the site | Their hosting, their login, their licences | Yours – domain, hosting, admin, files |
| The words | “Client to supply content” | Written by us, corrected by you |
| Page structure | Home, About, Services, Contact | A page per service and per area, built to rank |
| Speed | “Fast-loading” as a bullet point | Core Web Vitals measured per page, scores on the launch sheet |
| Tracking on launch | Analytics pasted in, maybe | GA4 + Tag Manager, conversions tested live |
| Portfolio | Screenshots, no links, “confidential” | Twelve live sites, linked, on this page |
| Price | “Request a quote”, then hourly | Published bands, fixed once scoped |
| After launch | Handover PDF, then an hourly rate | Training, 30 days included, care plan optional |
Do not take our word for it. Take theirs.

I’ve been using Jimit services for a while now and couldn’t be happier. He understands that when you run a business, your website is important and sometimes things need to be changed or fixed quickly. He’s always quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and you don’t have to explain everything ten times for him to understand what you need. I regularly use his services and would definitely recommend him to any business owner who values their time, quick service and, most importantly, getting the job done right. ThanksPosted on Google![]()

A real office in Parramatta, a real ABN, and a site you can leave with.
Web design is a purchase where the seller can hold the product hostage after the sale. These are the terms that make that impossible.
Six things you can hold us to
You own all of it.
Domain, hosting, admin, licences, files, copy. In your name from day one.
Fixed price, once scoped.
No hourly surprises. What would change the price is written down before we start.
We write the words.
You will never be handed a blank page and asked to fill it.
Speed scores on the launch sheet.
Measured per page, shown to you, not described as "fast-loading".
No junior handoff.
The person who scoped it is the person who answers when something breaks.
Care plans are optional. Always.
Never a condition of the build, never bundled in silently.
And three things we won't promise.
We won't promise a new website will rank. It will be built so ranking is possible; ranking itself is separate, ongoing work, and we will say which you need. We won't promise it in two weeks. Four to eight is honest for a site with real copy and real checks, and a two-week site is a template with your logo on it. And we won't build you a $500 website. Not because we are precious about it, but because at that price the copy, structure, tracking and support are all missing, and you would be back within a year paying for the site you should have bought the first time.
Web design in Parramatta, Western Sydney, and everywhere the internet reaches.
Web design Parramatta: we are on Phillip Street, so if you are in Parramatta, Harris Park, Westmead, Granville, Merrylands or Rydalmere you can come in, sit down and see the work on a screen rather than a call. Web design Western Sydney: Blacktown, Penrith, Castle Hill, Liverpool, Bankstown and the Hills – where most of the trades, solar and medical sites above are based, and where “Sydney web design agency” searches are quietly won by whoever actually turns up. Sydney-wide and Australia-wide: the same build from the same website design agency, on video, with the same logins in your name at the end.

Web design FAQs
How much does a website cost in Australia?
For a business website built by an agency in Australia, expect $2,500 to $4,500 for a focused site of five to eight pages, $4,500 to $9,000 for a full business site with written copy, SEO structure and tracking, and $9,000 upwards for eCommerce, custom functionality or larger sites.
Template builders and offshore work sit under $1,500, but rarely include copywriting, SEO structure or analytics – which is where the value is.
How much do web designers charge in Sydney?
Freelance web designers in Sydney typically charge $60 to $120 an hour, or $1,500 to $4,000 per site. Agencies charge $3,000 to $15,000 depending on scope, because the price includes copywriting, SEO structure, tracking setup, project management and support after launch.
The gap between the two is usually not the design. It is everything around the design that decides whether the site produces enquiries.
How long does it take to build a website?
Four to eight weeks for a business website, once the content is in hand. The single biggest delay on almost every project is waiting for the client to supply text and photographs – which is why we write the copy and can arrange photography as part of the build.
eCommerce and custom sites run eight to fourteen weeks.
Do I own my website when it is finished?
Yes, entirely. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, the WordPress or Shopify admin is yours, and every file, image and line of copy is yours. We are a user you can remove.
Some agencies keep the site on their own hosting under their own login, so that leaving means starting again. We consider that a hostage arrangement and do not do it.
Should I use WordPress or Shopify?
Target the searches newcomers make, like “near Bella Vista station” and “near me” services, and keep your Google profile full of current photos and reviews. Being named in AI answers helps too.
Will my new website rank on Google?
A new website does not rank by itself, and any agency promising that is selling something. What a website can do is be built so that ranking is possible: fast, with a clean heading structure, a page for each service and each area, correct titles and descriptions, structured data, and analytics that shows what is happening.
That is included in every build here, because we are an SEO agency and we build the site we would want to inherit. Ongoing ranking is a separate, ongoing job.
Do you offer affordable web design in Sydney?
Our smallest package is a focused, fast, properly built business website at the lower end of what Sydney agencies charge, and the price is on this page.
What we do not offer is a $500 website, because at that price the copy, the SEO structure, the tracking and the support are all missing – and those are the parts that make a website produce enquiries rather than just exist.
What is included in your web design packages?
Every package includes design, development, written copy, a mobile-first responsive build, SEO structure with titles, headings and structured data, Core Web Vitals and speed work, Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager with conversion tracking, security hardening, staff training, and thirty days of post-launch support.
The packages differ in the number of pages, the amount of custom functionality, and whether eCommerce is included.
Do I need a website redesign?
Probably, if any of these are true: it takes more than three seconds to load on a phone, you cannot edit it yourself, it is not getting enquiries although you are getting traffic, it was built before 2020, it does not have a page for each of your services, or you are embarrassed to send people to it.
If none of those apply, a redesign is a cost without a return, and we will tell you so.
Do you use templates or build custom websites?
Both, honestly. Most business websites are built on WordPress with a design created for you, on a foundation that is well tested rather than written from scratch. Fully custom development is for functionality that does not exist off the shelf: quoting tools, portals, integrations, booking systems.
Paying for custom code to do what WordPress already does is paying twice.
What happens after the website goes live?
Thirty days of included support to fix anything that surfaces, then a choice: look after it yourself with the training we give you, or a monthly care plan that covers updates, backups, security, uptime monitoring and small changes.
Because we also run SEO and Google Ads, many clients continue with us for the marketing — but that is a separate decision and never a condition of the build.
Do you work with businesses outside Parramatta and Sydney?
Yes. The office is in Parramatta and most clients are in Greater Sydney, but the portfolio on this page includes Brisbane and Melbourne businesses, and the work is done in a browser.
Local clients get face-to-face meetings; everyone else gets video calls and the same build.
Can you fix my existing website instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes, and it is usually cheaper. Speed problems, broken tracking, poor heading structure, missing service pages and weak calls to action can all be fixed on an existing WordPress or Shopify site. We will say which is the better option after looking at it.
If the foundation is a page builder that has been abandoned, or a custom system nobody can maintain, a rebuild is the honest answer.
Find out what your website is costing you.
Send us the address and we will look at it properly – speed on a phone, whether the tracking works, whether Google can tell what you sell, and what is stopping visitors from enquiring. You get a written note in plain English, and a straight answer on whether it needs fixing, rebuilding, or leaving alone. New business with no site yet? Say so, and we will send the page list we would build instead.
- Speed, structure and tracking checked by a person
- Fix, rebuild or leave alone - said plainly
- A fixed price if it is a rebuild, no hourly surprises
